We stayed there this week, the hosts were so helpful and really went out their way to help. We stayed in one of the superior rooms and it was lovely, the only reason I know this down, is the heating timings did mean one some mornings, it was cold although, Andrew did give us a portable heater which certainly helped. Great value for money, clean and lovely decor, reccomended stay!
A beautiful property, ideally situated, walking distance down to Bowness and Lake Windermere, close to shops, bars and restaurants and The Royalty Grand (cinema/theatre). It's a perfect accommodation to host a family or group get-together. Large reception rooms for chilling, hot tub in the garden and games room with darts and pool. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spotless with en suit bathrooms. Highly recommended.
Stayed here with two friends and we had a great stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating with any requests we had, and the rooms were big and clean and modern. Breakfast was also great and location was within walking distance of both Bowness-on-Windermere and the main town of Windermere also. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here!
Shared this wonderful house with friends for a birthday weekend. The house and interior are both beautiful and homely with a nice mix of contemporary and traditional. All bedrooms have an en suite with large fluffy towels provided. All communal spaces are large with comfy sofas and lovely decor. The two kitchens are very well equipped with everything you could ever need. The outside area is a wonderful sun trap during the day with the inclusion of a large hot tub. It's also a great space in the evening with outdoor lighting and large patio doors that fold back to bring both indoor and outdoor spaces together. The home is in a perfect location with all bars, restaurants, and the lake is only a short 20 min walk. We will definitely be returning.
Lovely guest house and very central - about 15 minute walk into Bowness town centre. Really friendly family that run it. Excellent breakfast and good variety. The rooms were immaculate and a good size. Very modern inside. I would definitely recommend and I would stay here again.
Excellent little guest house. The owners were very friendly and chatty, they also offered to recommend local places to eat and walks. The breakfast was good, with many options, we had the full English and it was tasty, and non greasy. The room it's self was spacious enough with the usual facilities, and the shower was great. Would definatly reccommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Windermere.
We stayed here for an 60th birthday celebration and what a wonderful place it is .Excellent location ,fantastic short walk into the centre of Bowness with its pubs, cafes and eateries. The house itself is stunning each of the bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms Fabulous huge dining table with bifold doors to the garden area where there is use of a hot tub - great little sun trap !!! The lounge areas are stylish & super comfy The place was spacious and absolutely spotless. We had a really lovely time here A brilliant place. Highly recommended.
My girlfriend and I stopped at the Rosemount for the first weekend after reopening and absolutely love it. Everything was spotless and the hosts were very welcoming and felt completely safe, good safeguards in place in response to Covid 19. The location was brilliant, everything is within a 10 minute walk. It truly felt like a home away from home and we can’t wait to return in the future. Excellent value for money and one of the best places we’ve stayed. Thank you.
